Nope definate penalty. Every time there's a penalty lately, people want the forward banned for diving it's getting ridiculous.

This. It’s just going to cause players being conscious of genuine fouls/penalties not looking like dives.

Was right in front of us and a cast iron penalty IMO.

A clumsy challenge by Sterling after getting done and clever from Wilf.

Graham Poll is a fvckin idiot.

It was probably a "soft" penalty.
But compared to all the "soft" free kicks City were awarded it was a foul, therefore a penalty.
It's rediculous that Wilf goes under the microscope every time a penalty is given in his favour.
And it's a bit rich when the likes of Michael Owen, who notoriously cheated to win penalties, starts pointing fingers.

It may or may not have been a pen, if it was it was soft, however I've seen it several times and don't think Wilf took a dive - I've seen a few! But for me it's not a case of good challenge, therefore he dived.

He won't.

Soft penalty but as that image shows, can't be classed as a dive

I'm really hoping there's a contentious one against the weed and the video shows he's been fouled. How we'll laugh....

Not a penalty, or a dive. Two players going for the ball got tangled up, Wilf ended up on his arse. It’s a contact support, not everything is a foul or a dive.

Not a dive according to MOTD, however consensus was a soft penalty.

Its such a shame Wilf does this. He doesn't need to

Such a shame he's so fast and gets fouled a lot?

Somebody on another thread mentioned that AJ used to do the same, full pelt, any touch and he goes down. Not cheating, just too good for them.

What's all this "Soft Penalty ? ". Next we will hear about "Hard penalty".

You hear so many hackneyed phrases about penalties - "Harsh" "I've seen them given" "Outside the box it's a foul" "He was looking for it" etc etc.

I was quoting from the BBC pundits so write to them and complain, Willo.

For avoidance of doubt I wasn't aiming any criticism at you.I understood that you were quoting what the pundits said.Same old terminology over and over again !
