Was a brilliant player at Everton, was genuinely exciting to watch. Powerful and skilful, similar to RLC. If we lose RLC, Cabaye or McArthur he’d be a great signing I reckon. He, like Joe Hart are on a downward spiral at the moment but are both decent players who will be available on the cheap. The Selhurst crowd is infectious and can make a difference. Palace would be a good fit for both players too who are tying to get their careers back on track.

If true not the type of player for us.

I’d say if RLC goes back then the club should try to set up a RB loan with option to buy in the other direction. Would have thought Chelsea would be open to that, as he’d be further down the peaking order now we’ve bought RLC on. Season loan with option to buy. Might suit all parties.
