My wife and I did a river boat trip which ended up at the Glienecke Bridge (where spies used to be swapped). That was good, but it was summertime.

Obviously great that Germany has been reunited, but a passage through Checkpoint Charlie into an austere East Berlin was quite an experience back in 1986!
