He then did it again and killed him.

You believe that an adult cannot work out that crushing a three year old with a car seat could lead to death?
Next you'll be saying Ian Huntley is unaccountable because he didn't realise that holding a child's head under water would cause drowning.

Nasty, cruel people for sure.

It would surprise me if the man and the mother knew that they were killing the child.

Clearly, as with so many things, you know better.

Strange then that it is being prosecuted as manslaughter.

I have no doubt that many people currently have little idea how to look after children, how best to quiet them and what is mortally dangerous.

I also have no doubt that the default setting for people like this should be sterilisation prior to sexual maturity, as soon as it becomes clear they have a toxic mixture of cruelty and stupidity.
