I'd be surprised if there is a break clause in his loan agreement given we have both paid £1.5m for his 5 minutes of football so far and have an agreed purchase clause dependant on games played.

The whole situation is bizarre, Either Freedman or Parish must have spent a lot of time to set up this complex deal, and then to not even play just doesn't make any sense.

Yeah Freedman even went over to Seville to get this deal done so I can't imagine him being too happy with Roy after his efforts appear to have been wasted.

It can't be to free up a squad place as we have 5 keepers in the 25 man squad. Just seems crazy that he hasn't been given a chance. Hodgson really needs to retire and be replaced by someone with an ounce of attacking instinct.

I'm sure we are all thinking "what if.." i.e what if he'd been given a chance and turned out to be just the creative midfield player that we desperately need. And "if only" when he moves somewhere else and makes a mark.

If Camerasa moves on and is a success at another prem club,Roy is putting his neck on the block and could be fired. Can't believe Roy hasn't played him yet. He won't play against Liverpool as Roy will try and defend for 90 minutes and we'll get end up getting hammered.

Real Betis are 17th in the La Liga just one place above relegation. Don't you think that if Camarasa were any good they would be wanting him to help them get clear of danger?

Agree that it is strange that Betis let him go if he is decent. But Luka, Zaha haven’t been decent all season, yet play every minute. If Kouyate wasn’t 6 ft 2 surely he wouldn’t be in the team. Jimmy Mac tries hard, but has limited ability, Townsend has been treading water and schlup is schlup. For Camarassa and Meyer not to get a start in that midfield they must have had a 4 way with Roy’s mrs and daughter. Although I saw them both play against Colchester and would doubt either would have the energy .

Roy sees him every day for hours - surely there must be a reason for not playing him. Training and playing may well be different animals but you would think he would show enough. He obviously does not rate him - get rid and try someone else in Jan
