Roy won't want to play more than one or two U23 players, but he may be forced to. There is the option of Camarassa, but I personally doubt we'll see him in a Palace shirt again. Pierrick looked lively when he came on, although I'll admit I have no idea where he normally plays!

"Again"? Many will be desperately trying to think of when they did see him in a Palace shirt.

Hennessy Woods Kouyate Tavares Mitchell McCarthy Meyer Kirby Daly Wickham Pierrick It’s not the team that's gonna win, but we can’t risk Jairo, Tomkins and Kelly from the back four, and we can’t risk Macca Ayew and Wilf either. I wouldn’t be too fussed if Luka is fit and up for it and plays, but those named above absolutely must be rested. In response to another poster, Daly has indeed played wing back before when the u23s had no full backs. There are other midfielders such as Boateng who have played right back before as well. It’s not the team that's gonna win, but we can’t risk Jairo, Tomkins and Kelly from the back four, and we can’t risk Macca Ayew and Wilf either.

I wouldn’t be too fussed if Luka is fit and up for it and plays, but those named above absolutely must be rested.

In response to another poster, Daly has indeed played wing back before when the u23s had no full backs. There are other midfielders such as Boateng who have played right back before as well.

Our poor injury record isn’t just limited to the first team squad it seems.
