There are some real proper idiots on here!! they keep saying remember Oldham!! that was totally different. We were the only team above Oldham, and there were 3 games left, but both teams had similar goal difference, in fact Oldham's was better which is why they overhauled us!! But this time we have 5 teams below us, of which 2 of them in the bottom 3 would have to all win their remaining 5 games (unlikely because they have barely won 5 games the entire season!! and they have games against the likes of Man City, Chelsea etc)- PLUS they need to overhaul our vastly superior goal difference of around +10 or +11, and also it would mean that Watford and West ham who are likely to be safe anyway, would have to leap frog us as well. It is utterly ridiculous to think about at least 5 miracles that would have to happen. Honestly who thinks of threads like this!!!!

Offered this on the eve of the season before the Everton game I’d have bitten your hand off. Even more so after the second game against Sheffield Utd.

Indeed same with the Liverpool game at home although in fairness both opponents played open attacking football which sort of gave us a chance.

Is this a wind up? I've heard of glass half empty but come on. By no realistic measure are we going to get relegated.
