Kouyate has played in central defence for club and country and I have a feeling that in the AFCON he only played in this position for Senegal.
From what I've seen, it's his best position. He hasn't offered much from midfield for the last few months.

Last game of the season and still same old Roy selection. For a guy that keeps moaning about injuries etc he still doesn't want to try anything new out. If we lose this game he has to go I really hope we can get a draw but I just can't see it happening with that lineup
