Like previous seasons, I don't see us starting well. Though, I will change my mind depending on any new arrivals before the window closes. However, I fully expect us to pick up when players start to return from injury - ie. Cahill, Tomkins, Ferguson, PVA even Benteke adds an extra option. With West Brom & Fulham almost certain to go, it will be a dogfight for that last relegation place. You never know what can happen during season, ie. no one expected Sheffield United to have such a great season, but I reckon the last relegation place will be between Brighton & Villa. Regrettably I think Brighton will be ok this season. I’m calling Sheff U to go down.

Could be anywhere in bottom half. 12th would be acceptable

If we do indeed have a new striker then I think we will finish 15-18th. We have strengthened but so have a lot around us. I expect us to score more goals (surely) but also concede more. Sheffield United, West Brom. and Fulham to be relegated. Man City to win the title.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

fancy top 10 if youngsters workout well for us maybe a cup run to, hoping for good things rather hoping to finish above relegation

Entirely dependent on what happens between now and the end of the transfer window. If Zaha stays and we can bring in a couple more then I don’t see any reason why we can’t finish comfortably mid table.

At this precise time, assuming Bats is done and nothing else happens in or out: 13th. But I think a lot more action is coming both in and out. So jury is out

This is a really dangerous season: On the plus side: I have been wrong for each of the last 7 seasons. I think 19th.

Each of past 7 seasons we have finished between 10th and 15th but never 13th. Sounds about right

We'll do a Leicester: just which season's Leicester it will be, I don't know.
