You judge a manager on two things imo. How hard his team work for him and whether they are successful. On both counts he's been undoubtedly a success at Palace, comfortably keeping us up with a team that fights for the shirt, and allowing us to build the infrastructure of the club at the same time.

Yep he does like a to pick up the ball with his back to goal and do are large turn, it allows him to keep the ball and get time to work out his next move , what I really liked was for about 20 mins in the second half he ran at players laid the ball off and ran forward for a return pass not seen palace players do that in the centre of midfield for a long time, made our attacks more exciting, problem is he suddenly stopped doing it, maybe not following Roy’s orders and got a rollicking, I would like to see more of this personally
