It comes down to the fact that if Zaha doesn’t play we might as well not turn up. If he were to go in the summer, which I think is unlikely, then we are going to need a manager who can figure out a way for us to win matches when he isn’t available. Hodgson is not that man.

Some blame Roy, others the weakness of the squad. We'll forever debate that one. But what you say is undeniably true.
