Really hope I am dreadfully wrong and that Viera has a tactical ace up his sleeve.
I fear Pulisic today though, he can run us ragged.
COYP!!!!

I agree but let’s consider that we are not expected to win, and we are needing a striker let’s give him a solid look Against top talent. If he can show promise then we can review most pressing needs. If he fails as most believe, we go harder for a scoring threat. This match will show us quite a bit about the future of the window and our club. It’s an exciting time to be a Palace fan!

I know I'm going out on a limb but part of me sitting down and watching a match, is the chance that we will get something from the game.

With that in mind, I'm going for a draw of some sort..

We can do it, hope we will..

Good luck Patrick, good luck to the team.. COYP...

They said on comms in the u23 v Brentford match that Tomkins was due to start but then had to be replaced so I assume is injured.

Vieira stated Luka not available due to personal reasons. This seems to have been the same reasons given at the back end of last season. May well just be another incident or perhaps there's more too it.

Gonna be one hell of a tough start today. Only one new player able to start with another on the bench despite the fact we've let a dozen or so go... nice to see youth on the bench although I've got a feeling that's as much down to no other options as opposed to having genuine faith in them. But let's hope some of them rise to the challenge.

Fingers crossed we can put in a positive display to get the Vieira Era up and running.

"Racism never went away"

Indeed. All these campaigns have made race relations and racial harmony considerably worse, by painting us all as racist bigots if we object to the politicisation of sport. Take the knee, racists. Subjugate yourselves to the BLM Marxist idealogy. Otherwise you're a racist.

Here's a link to the game:

It wiil be good to finally have a good look at Mateta, strating in a competitive match. He's been here a while and this is his chance to show us what hes got...
