Sacked or Mutual consent. One is slightly more user friendly but either way he has left his post and will no doubt have received an absolutely obscene pay out in the process. Most people when they are sacked or leave their post by mutual consent might be lucky for 3 months pay. The deals Ashley used to offer are insane (just listen to the Andy Woodman interviews to hear about the one he signed and the payouts John Carver and Steve Stone received). Anything even remotely close to £8m should soften the blow nicely form Mr. Bruce.

Rubbish, Do you honestly think they weren't aware of how much they'll have to pay Bruce to get rid of him long before the bought the club?
If they are going to baulk at 8m they are in for a bit of a shock when they start enquiring about the cost of players they want to sign!
