David was meant to be the Labour leader. Personally I see the him (David Miliband) as the personification of all that is wrong with not only politics in the UK but also of the wider world (look at his current job if you want a little glimpse of how geo-politics works. It is fascinating, at least to sad geeks like me, to observe just how the links between charity and politics are so intertwined.

But if you want a cheeky outside bet with money you can afford to fritter away, then a few quid on Dave Miliband being this countries next Labour Prime-Minister might be a worth-while punt. Trust me, he ain't gone away and still has at least one eye on number 10.
