But if you want a cheeky outside bet with money you can afford to fritter away, then a few quid on Dave Miliband being this countries next Labour Prime-Minister might be a worth-while punt. Trust me, he ain't gone away and still has at least one eye on number 10. I think they are both instinctively more left and so closer to the membership.

Ah, so he didn't grow up from the age of 3 until 7 in Leeds then and go to Featherbank Infants, prior to his father taking them globe-trotting. Silly me.

And still 100% part of that same cabal, who are now effectively back in charge of the Labour Party. Ed was definitely more to the Left, and got the Trade Union backing which effectively allowed him to beat his brother. And lets not forget that back in 2015, at 9.59pm on May 7 2015, 'Red' Ed genuinely believed he had every chance of being the next Prime Minister. With the rest being history. Weird really. Has there ever been such a traumatic 6 or so years in British political history during peace time? When so much has changed/happened? If I was a politics student then doing a PHD on that period would be an absolute must. No matter what your view point a fascinating time for politics, not only in the UK.

And I'd quite like to know why (in the current climate) the only lesson from someone emailing a politician threatening their children is that the politician shouldn't 'whip up discord'. As stated, there is plenty routinely said by politicians that is little different from calling someone 'scum' or implying it. Ill advised yes; but there is however a difference between such opinion and threatening someones child as result of it. She shouldn't have said it, but in apologising now seemingly as result of something threatening her kids, I don't see that as being a very healthy outcome either.

Am happy to admit when I am wrong, please at least provide some substantiation. If he lived as a child in Leeds from the ages of 3 -7 he would have " grown up " a bit from the process of getting older. " Hell yes " to quote the great man Originally posted by Mapletree

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
