In our 5th tier, the National League there are fixtures like Dover or Eastleigh against the likes of Grimsby and Stockport These clubs don't fly, there isn't the finances! Apparently there is no appetite to regionalise at that level either! Madness

When you live in the West of Cornwall, domestic flights makes great sense from a time, comfort and cost point of view (but not green). Every time I’ve done it there have been delays. But in principal much better way.

Cop 26 ended in tears. Literally!!! So yes compared to world leaders, wealthy football clubs feel free to fly domestic. A plane and a coach is actually quite green to take their massive entourage away from home. As always we are looking at the wrong issues. Why do they have such a big entourage eg all the coaches so many subs etc etc. AND allow all the fans to travel?

There are lots of parts of the UK where domestic flights are vital not just for the local economy but for people keeping in touch.

I reckon Dougie might use a plane / taxi combo to get to Selhurst as he apparently lives in Cheshire and is currently on a driving ban:
