The lineup is the best we can hope for with all our players out. Strange that Benteke isn't starting ahead of Mateta, but must be a fitness issue. If/when we're losing, Benteke will likely come on. Schlupp is useless, but he's slightly better than Riedewald, and we have no other midfield options. Glad to see VG back.

I believe Norwich have a number of players out with injury so I hope that evens things up a bit. I'm surprised to see Mateta get in ahead of Tekkers. Let's hope he can justify his selection. The absence of any academy players does indicate that they are no more likely to get a sniff of first team football under PV than they were with Roy.
