Favourite Palace Player of all time: Andy Johnson

Palace player I dislike: PVA (Tyrick is vastly superior)

Palace player that grew on me: Glenn Murray. I didn’t think much of him at first when we signed him, but when he started scoring for fun in the 12/13 season, he quickly proved me wrong. Why did we ever sell him?!

Most overrated Palace player: Max Meyer.

Most underrated Palace player: James McArthur (AKA the unsung hero)

The G.O.A.T.: Wilf. Without him, we’d be struggling to get out of the Championship. And he’s seemingly matured since he’s come back from the AFCON.

Favourite Palace Player of all time: Kenny Sansom - you can never surpass that childhood hero worship. Except Ian Wright did but then fell from grace in the manner of his exit. Perhaps Eddie McGoldrick and Wayne Routeledge should get a look in.

Palace Player I dislike: I don't like any kind of boo boy mentality against any Palace players - but there is one and only one who makes me absolutely furious that he wore the red and blue - Andy Dorman

Palace Player that grew on me: Richard Shaw - I thought he was literally the most abysmal footballer in history as a left back and seemed only about one in ten of his passes up the line stayed in play. But once he moved inside the defence became a thing of wonder.

Most overrated Palace Player: I see Max Meyer has been mentioned and sadly I agree though the name Michele Padovano also springs to mind. Had the question been Most Disappointing Palace Player there would have been a cast of hundreds

Most underrated Palace Player: Due to a character fault I seem to try and rate all Palace Players while no one outside the club think hardly any are any good. In the current crop I think Jeffrey Schlupp gets undue negativity (Benteke too but it's understandable) - I liked Dave Madden and Owen Garvan which shows an undue liking for good passers with low mobility so perhaps it was the rarity at Palace over the years of those who loved possession of the ball rather than their ability that I was drawn to? Also Marouane Chamakh - we would have never made it through season 1 of this Premier league run without him.
