A stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell give some indication of expected traffic numbers

First half negotiated quite creditably I'd say we had slightly the better of it.

Obviously missing Gallagher's aggression but we are well in this.

I honestly don't understand Ward's purpose in the formation. Kouyate seems to be playing right back at times.

The good news is we have got through the first half 0-0 playing solid defence, and have some talent to come off the bench.

Eze looking very composed and influential.

We're going to need them as legs tire in the 2nd half - this pitch is notorious for taking a toll on legs

We have to be happier than Chelsea who look a bit half asleep. As we grew in confidence we put pressure on the ball more and Chelsea became careless. Long way to go but we're in with a shout. Need to be more clinical though as we wasted some good opportunities.
