easy win will have help for Wilf and reckon stronger midfield , we have goals in the team need to convert , we dont give 1 striker long enough to fit in , Mateta was being played more often then changed again so striker cant build up a understanding still 3-0 win COYP

I do wonder if Villa have really improved under Gerrard, especially given he's been backed financially. I would say we're about on a level pegging, so it will be a tough game but if we show bravery and commitment definitely one we can win. Nonetheless, I'm going to go for 1-1. Wilf with another goal.

Much as I hate Liverpool, I think Gerrard was a brilliant footballer and would dare to call him 'underrated'. Had he won more trophies with a better Liverpool I think he would be considered one of the greatest CMs of all time. As a manager however, even with significant financial backing, I would at best describe him as underwhelming, I couldn't even articulate his 'style'. 2-0/1 Palace. I rarely go for a Palace win as I try to conserve my anger and disappointment or at least limit it however they are a club in some disarray at the moment and I just think don't have it together enough for a solid performance (which they are probably capable of). We shall see Sat.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I think this will be a very difficult game and I do expect Villa to be safe this season. However, we really need a win given we still have a very difficult run of games. I'll say 2-1 to Palace

If the ref clamps down on that cvnt Mcginn , who commited 12 fouls and got no yellow card last time we played them. we will get the win 3=0 COYP

They are a sneaky dirty side giving out niggling fouls. I think that will result in a 2-2 draw. If we manage to do better it will confirm we are making positive progress.COYP
