Agree,£35m is out of our reach for a Club that seeks bargain basement signings and 'frees'.

If true 35 mill, they really don’t want to sell. Palace wouldn’t pay that for a player six times more experienced than this fella. If we are talking potential 35 mill goes way beyond that. Another bit of Palace need a striker fantasy for me, most clubs in Europe wouldn’t bite at that price.

Arsenal are no world beaters let’s be honest and this guy isn’t even on their radar….yet they think he is worth £35 million ….based on what exactly? He is worth half that at most and even then you are over paying

They have purportedly told him to go and find another club and have set an artificially high price knowing that no club in their right mind would pay it but if a club was mug enough to do so then fine they can have him. If no club bites then Balogun will be left either not getting any 1st team game time at Arsenal or having to climb down and accept another loan move.

I don't think so. My take is that Arsenal were miffed that Balogun won't go on another loan. They have purportedly told him to go and find another club and have set an artificially high price knowing that no club in their right mind would pay it but if a club was mug enough to do so then fine they can have him. If no club bites then Balogun will be left either not getting any 1st team game time at Arsenal or having to climb down and accept another loan move.
