If we can get Chalobah on loan then that would be ideal.

We had Lewis Hall in the bag but Newcastle out bid us with a hefty option to buy plus add-ons.

I suspect Chelsea will hold out for similar. We will only get him (if we want him) if there are no takers.

Or we dangle the Guehi carrot, for the end of the season, he is going to go anyway, sell him to Chelsea in Jan for 40m plus Chalaboah, under condition they loan him back until the end of the season.

As for Lerma, he is not a natural playing further up the pitch so i would prefer him in a solid 2 with Eze in front.

Lerma played as a box to box midfielder for Bournemouth not a holding one. Scored a few goals for them when getting forward including a cracker against us at Selhurst in our 5-3 win!

Not likely to happen. I believe Glasner wants Lacroix and I think Lacroix wants to come to Palace.

Please no!

Him and his side-kick mate Madueke who has a head band covering half his eyes are the two most unwanted players of my Chelsea mates. It was those two clowns who tried to steal the ball off Palmer for a penalty when Palmer was the nominated taker.

Average players and selfish guys who don’t think about the wider squad.

Avoid.

I saw several Chelsea fans saying he was one of their best players in the last 10 games of the season and were disappointed that he'd been pushed out. I've not seen that much of him, but his passing stats are good and he does look composed on the ball.

Seeking information from a gentleman far more 'Au Fait' with the qualities of Trevoh Chalobah than myself, he did assert that the player was very comfortable in possession and his reading of the game is worthy of plaudits.
I was also informed that whilst Chalobah is a centre-half by trade he has been deployed at right-back and in midfield.

That doesn't surprise me. Let's face it, the fringe players at the Big 6 clubs don't want to come to us. If they've got to leave it will be to bigger clubs than us if they can get it. In any event there's usually a premium for buying a player from another PL club and we've been stung by that in the past.

Far better IMO to bring in overseas players or players from the Championship (although the latter are getting quite pricey these days as well).

It’s was Jackson and Madueke that wanted to take Palmers penalty. Nothing to do with Chalobah.
