Tottenham are playing well, but are not world beaters. Their right back is very impressive with driving raids into the opposition half so we will have to avoid the same mistake as Saturday when Trippier was given full run of the right side. The main creative hub is Maddison and I would be tempted to use Lerma to man mark him and nullify his influence. Their two centre backs and keeper are solid and don't give away much. I don't think we'll win but will go for a 1-1. I don't think we'll keep a clean sheet as they play very much on the front foot and press high. Ideally you'd want to bypass the midfield but are forwards are not quick and powerful enough up front to play this way.

This is looking the most likely, I'm afraid. I think we'll struggle to cope with their pressing game and will be reduced to playing long balls which will end up back with them. I hope I'm wrong, of course, but without Eze and Olise, we simply don't have anything to hurt the opposition (With França expected to start for the U21s against Monaco tonight, he's unlikely to be more than a bench player on Friday).

Sadly, if our strikers got trapped in a flat with 3 nymphomaniacs I still don't think they'd score.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.
