Happy to go down in truth. Apart from 2 brief spells when we played well under Viera and at the end of last seasons, we have had 5 seasons of setting up for 0-0 draws and trying to beat the 5 teams below us in the league.

Cooper for me. Inherits a squad of decent individuals, would give home grown youth a chance, would play a more exciting brand of football and knows how to get out of the Championship.

Forest fans still supported him as he was sacked. Hodgson runs off down the tunnel at the end of games, pops up in post match interviews to say "of course it is all very difficult". Only Brighton fans want him here anymore. He has become a joke. His legacy is massive underperformance accept for a brief spell at Fulham. England, Liverpool, Watford and now Palace - the fella has become a laughing stock.

We have lost our last 12 (yes TWELVE) league games against Chelsea (Plus a certain FA Cup semi).

The last time we beat Chelsea in the league was when we had lost the first 7 games of the season without scoring a goal and under Hodgson beat Mourinho's reigning PL champions 2-1. Ironically, we couldn't even score our first goal in that game - Chelsea had to do it for us.

So as Chelsea was Hodgson's first win as a Palace manager, might Monday week be his last? Sadly, I think it unlikely and we will fall to yet another abject defeat having employed the same tactics that currently aren't working.

I will not gallivant into the realms of the tenureship of Mr Hodgson, however our supporters at Selhurst Park have certainly been short-changed in terms of results and performances.

I for one do not look forward to attending matches any more and at this moment of time I do not envisage myself making a 4 hour round trip in midweek to take my seat for the Chelsea game.

Those who know me will be astonished if I happen to stay in the warmth of 'Chez Willo' rather than attend the game as they know that I have been an ardent and dedicated supporter of the club since the 60s and how committed I have been over the years.

Chelsea are our bogey team.

It doesn't seem to matter who we or they have available, they find a way to win.

I don't see it changing.

Chelsea have severe problems,if they played Luton I would say that their loss would be inevitable.But, our set piece play is the worst possible in the division and our defense from being in the top ten a few months ago,has turned into a horror show.Olise,Eze and Guehi nowhere around and the task is very difficult.Also some weird decisions(Henderson instead of Johnstone in goal)make things even more difficult.Roy under the terrific pressure he is under cannot IMO think clearly, so even a point theoretically will be very difficult.Only hope is that we might justify the title of being one of the most unpredictable teams around and gain something positive. COYP!

We have a nasty habit of being the team that ends a poor run of form for a player or team. If somebody hasn’t scored since 1807 then you can bet your house they will end that run against us.

I would be happier going into the Chelsea game with them on fire.

This could be one of those odd occasions when after the match, one manager will be sacked and it won't be the one who lost the game.

Nothing to be gained by dumping on the players -THEY NEED ALL THE SUPPORT THEY CAN GET under difficult and uncertain times. I cannot be there, but our fans should be cheering from the get go and encouraging every player. If ever this was the time for the 12th man, this is it. Whatever folks feel about the club direction, manager etc, getting on the players back will just compound the issues and predictably make it more difficult. Will the fans be accountable for a loss - I suspect not.

Please make some banners to show support ... show the world that we are still South London and Proud and can face adversity in the face with strength, courage, determination and unwavering loyalty. The other stuff can wait for another day.

Just my humble hope for a positive vibe..... if only Kayla the Eagle would be there!

0 - 4 Chelsea seems doable for us.

The odds of us winning this match have to be 30 to 1. No chance, no way. It will be an exercise in damage limitation.

I think we will play well in this one and we will be scratching our heads, but sadly we are laying a top 6 side and we don't win many of those, even when the other side are rubbish.

You'd think that we have to tighten up at the very least. Score? Not so sure. Maybe lose around 3-1 with them scoring late and putting a gloss on the scoreline.

In our first (and second longest) run in the top division we played for 4 years without beating a single London club and our last chance before relegation was against Chelsea and against all the odds we won 2-0. Not sure what to think!
