11. Belgium 1982 I must admit I do not remember this shirt made by Admiral which is similar to what Wales and Coventry wore back in the day. Quite unusual design.

8. Romania 1996 A striking design made by Adidas, the template used for a number of shirts including Crystal Palace. This was our third shirt in 1996/97.

7. Scotland 1976 The oldest shirt I have chosen and the infamous Ally's Tartan Army shirt. Scotland were so convinced they were going to win the World Cup they held a victory parade at Hampden Park before they set off to Argentina. That was the best it got. I like the shirt because it is traditional with a collar, but includes the Umbro diamonds on the sleeves so beloved at that time. Edited by Brasilian Eagle (19 Jun 2024 5.21pm)

5. Croatia 2020 Into the top 5 we go with shirts that broke the mould. Never seen before, Croatia boldly display the colours of their national flag on a football shirt.

4. England 1982 This is my favorite England shirt of all time made by Admiral for the 1982 World Cup in Spain. Admiral kits were exciting, vibrant and different to what went before. Even the Leeds Utd shirt made by them looked good! Take a look at the crowd tomorrow and you will still see a large number of fans wearing these replica Admiral shirts.
