As an ex-referee myself I cannot believe two decisions by Clattenf***. The first was the Gomez foul on Benteke ffs he didn't accidentally trip he actually kicked him so should have been a red. As for booking Wilf after he was fouled (replay clearly shows contact enough to knock Wilf off the ball) well words fail me. I don't think we will ever win a game with Clattenburgg as ref.

Think it's interesting how many people are happy with that as a point. I'm not saying Allardyce won't fix things, as he's had only a couple of days, but if AP had remained in charge people would have been livid with that exact result? It honestly seemed to me to be pretty much exactly the same as the previous few months. Good play undone by defensive stupidity.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

We seem to be hacked down time and time again when we break and how he gave Zaha a yellow for diving is ridiculous. The rule about penalties and red cards was changed before the season. Still should have been yellow for Gomes. Definitely a penalty against Delaney. For Zaha's yellow, it looked like there was contact but he went down too easily (bad call on the yellow by Clattenburg).

We've given a lot away for shirt-holding in the past. You can't do that any more - that's why us and Leicester have shipped a lot of goals this season as we both used to do it a lot. By the way, Jedinak gave away exactly the same pen against them at home last season.
