I love Palace but find this hard to take, never wanted FdB in the first place. Why oh why did we not get Silva, seems to be doing a great job at Watford. Wish I could understand some of SP's decisions, I know he loves Palace but does he understand football?

So what are you suggesting, we don't make any changes?

Palace have become the first team to lose the opening four top-flight games without scoring a goal since 1924!!

Its a results business. He needed to go.

Nice swerve. You would keep Roy if we lose the next four games to nil then I take it? So why not give Frank a last go v Soton considering the obvious improvement yesterday in the team devoid of its three better players.

Will we be there on Saturday?
Will we be right behind the team?
Will we still be here when the good times return?
Will we still be moaning about _______? (put name here)
Will we make 40 points?
Will we beat Brighton?
Will we go on an amazing winning run?

It's only the last one I'm not sure about but you can bet that me and every other true Palace Supporter will give everything we can to let the players know we are with them and behind them in the challenge that lies ahead!

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it. Henry Ford

I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB!

We couldn't (chose not to) compete with Watford. He was not worth delaying his 1st of 7 holidays, with Zaha in the sun so instead said Silva who was in demand should fly to Spain rather than parish to London.

The hopelessness in the Palace 4-0 Hull match was due to injuries to an already inept squad where he worked wonders getting them anywhere near safety.

Get over it, if you follow Palace that's how it is.

Ah Forgot the 'I'm more of a fan than you brigade...'

If you follow anything and have any emotional let alone financial investment then you care. Part of caring is not just passive acceptance.

We appointed a manager who was seen as a devdecent appointment. We didn't back him. We sack him and replace him with one well past his sell by date who may well do a Sam, sell us and leave. The board chatter on about building a legacy and we are seemingly incapable of building a team let alone a legacy.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

The only legacy we have after 5 years is some tatty cladding on the tatty main stand.

If any manager lost the last four games without scoring a single goal against 3 sides which you would be looking to take points against I would say sack them.

If a new manager came in and lost the next four without scoring I would be inclined to give them a couple more games purely due to the increased standard of opposition for our next four games. However I would sack them if the form did not improve after say 6 or 7 games.

There you go - no swerve whatsoever.

Now answer this question - How many games would you have given Frank if he kept losing and not scoring?

Its OK moaning about it but seriously - how many games without scoring or picking up points would you have given him?

Parish detractors are more of a threat to the club than Parish could ever be. If he decides to leave because of all the over emotional flak from idiots then we truly are in trouble.

Parish has made a mistake with De Boer and everybody makes mistakes but this guy and his group saved this club and made the decisions that enabled the club to be promoted.

People forget that we had no right to be promoted.....We were a middling spending Championship side. The Freedman era had some brilliant transfers in it.

Most managers have little more loyalty to their clubs than players do. Parish is a fan who has put his money into the club, you don't get more loyal than that.

Everyone has the right to criticise, but criticism of Parish needs to be made with the common sense that this guy and 2010 were the best thing that has happened to this club since the glory days of Venables.

Justifiable stick. It won't be long before the media start referring to us as Crystal Parish.

Throughout the whole anti Parish debate in the last couple of weeks on HOL I have remained either neutral or supportive but no longer can I support a chairman that clearly has no clue what he's doing.

To post on Twitter that we should all stick together and then to sack the manager the following morning is symptomatic of a chairman who isn't in full control of his marbles let alone a football club

What a load of rubbish. Your comments are always snidely anti Parish.

I'm not going to enter in to a debate about the decision to remove FDB of his duties or about a potential successor.

All I will say is that one doesn't sack one's manager after 4 games based on results alone.
