The lad is doing all he can to join us, so for that hats off to him!! This is likely to run to the wire, lets hope Lille directors have a change of heart. Apparently there trying to avoid relegation themselves so understandable they don't want there captain leaving mid season.

Earlier this evening it was reported that the opinion from within the club was that we were in for 3 players Guiata, Sorloth ans Amadou. It was believed that if we could get two of them it would be great with the preference being Guiata and Sorloth, and if we got Amadou it would be a bonus. I don't think that has changed. Soroloth looks all but done. Guiata we dont know about as he does not need to be here to complete the deal (he passed a medical with Palace earlier in the month) even if we don't have Guiata now he is coming in the summer at the end of his contract.

FFS! Will you lot lay off blaming Palace? We have now twice agreed to pay them what they wanted only for Lille to change their minds. It seems we’re at the point where deal agreed, medical sorted & player wants to come but his current team has put a stop to it at the last knockings. Try blaming the bloody French for a change.
