Why is it funny that I'm using The Mail? Edited by imbored (20 Mar 2015 1.50pm)
Some great defender of Islam all of a sudden am I? What a random thing to say. Despite what you might 'think', just because I'm not calling people a bender every five seconds or saying something racially or ethnically dubious on here it doesn't actually mean I'm a 'lefty'. People forget that Holmesdale's is a bit skewed and tribal politically. 'You're this or you're that'. Not representative of the general population. As it happens, it always grinds my gears when someone says "oh, you've posted something from there so I won't either bother reading it". Of course sources are sometimes biased, but ultimately either an article is valid and truthful or it isn't regardless of where it's from. Edited by imbored (20 Mar 2015 2.09pm) 'Sometimes'?? I'd argue that all sources are biased, objective reporting being a logical immpossiblity. My point being that articles can be judged on their merits. We'd disregard just about everything posted here if we judged it solely on source rather than content. Edited by imbored (20 Mar 2015 3.01pm)

According to BBC radio news, JC's contract will not be renewed. So they haven't actually sacked him. I guess so that it saves any litigation costs. So with Chris Evans declared out of the running, who's next I wonder?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

It's Hammond and May that deserve our sympathy. When you distill it to a human level, taking the money and viewers out, Clarkson's just another tit who let down his mates. I can see Netflix trying to get them all on board. Edited by imbored (25 Mar 2015 4.08pm)

It's worth repeating but he isn't even a real hamster. I may have missed it but I have only heard May stick up for Clarkson, Hammond has been quiet as a small rodent.

He said "Gutted at such a sad end to an era. We're all three of us idiots in our different ways but it's been an incredible ride together." earlier on Twitter but that's about it.

When you see the crazy amounts Netflix pays for content I really think there's a decent chance they'll snap these three up as way of gaining huge publicity and exclusive UK content.
