I think we stand a decent chance today or so Dai from number 45 tells me....and he's been selected as tight head prop

Bad news mate - he's pulled a hamstring taking his wheelie bin out so Mervyn from No 78 has been drafted in

B*gger I was hoping my 3 years playing for the Old Brockleians would have put me in with a shout.

A few tasty hits off those Fijian forwards today on some of the Welsh forwards and you'll see yourself slide up the pecking order

I take you lot by a good 15 plus points today - even with the injury situation you have too much for Fiji

Watford hadn't conceded at home until we played them. Runs are made to be broken.

Hopefully.

Well if you want to gamble a pint on an over/under of 60 points, I'll take the over and happily oblige.

Why not. Ideally i'd like them to knock the 0 off and keep it under 6!

Optimistic as ever

Well we got the win but that was tough going. I am getting my boots out and shall be up the park tomorrow practising my kicking in case I get the call.

Scrum looked poor but I was just glad we got the win in the end.

Stuk -- I owe you a pint.

Another example of the abject stupidity of the scheduling. England's week between every game is probably worth a point over Wales and Australia, who've both had to play Fiji on four days rest. Another advantage England have squandered. Wales did what they needed to, and in my view the margin would have been bigger without the shorter interval. All or nothing for England now on Saturday night.

Pleased with that. Good first half and hung in there once the inevitable tiredness kicked in.

9 days to get patched up.

Out of the sides not in the top 10 the 2 that have impressed me the most are Japan and Canada.

Fiji seriously should have won that game. Twice they were one final pass away from crossing the line at 17 - 13 and 20 - 13. Devastating for England fans!

Got to hand it to Wales though - they really are digging in!

What Wales actually have that we don't is multiple captains. It's not just Bread; AWJ, Biggar (who has really come into his own), Lydiate, Gethin (who really has past his sell-by date) etc. give them, despite injuries, leadership all over the park, something that we sorely lacked last week. I am developing a case of manlove for AWJ...the next Lions captain.

Biggar really has stepped up to the mark - never really seen him as that much of a player - a touch of Andy Goodes, big reliable boot, can tackle and ermmmmm....but he has been excellent and his decision making bang on..

Fiji did England a big favour yesterday and it's now all or nothing tomorrow night.

We can sneak a win (out of adversity) and recover our pride.

If we don't we don't and we can then look at what went wrong, but right now I'm getting behind our lads!

Thankfully, when this is over we won't have to look at what went wrong as we already know.

That said, I am picking England to win tomorrow. I have gone way one way, then the other all week but I think we are going to somehow swing it.

Lets hope we start off strong and eliminate the stupid handling errors, dodgy choice of options and just compete........ backs to the wall stuff!
