Ok, if someone is haranguing and threatening a politician it is not quite at the level of haranguing and threatening a person because of their skin colour because with the latter you are having a go at millions of others too by racist insinuation. Both criminal offences, as they should be, but that is the reason one has a stiffer sentence than the other.

We will have to agree to disagree on whether the kind of racist abuse she receives is ok or not.Also,on whether its pretty tacky to think abuse such as she's a “pathetic useless fat black piece of … pond slime who ought to be hanged" is ok or not. Threats on Farage are wrong and criminal...as I just implied; twice. That was the hat-trick. Name-calling beginning with a 'W' and 'C' is ok though. Go on - ask me again. 14 was the record I believe.
