Red meat actually contains a lot of nutrition and if eaten in moderation, I would not worry too much about it. Processed meats, not so good. There is no evidence that eating white meat is harmful but there is evidence however that depriving the body of necessary nutrients is harmful, especially in children.

We are designed to eat meat like it or not.

all nutrients initially come from plants

You are also assuming that people understand the subtleties of insuring a balanced diet. When dealing with the general public, that is a bit of a stretch.

You position is born from an agenda and one which demonises eating meat. Whilst I sympathise with the broader concerns about environment and animal welfare, it is not unnatural or immoral to eat meat in itself.

What percentage of meat eaters are eating the right amount of a healthy diet?

There are such things as responsible farming, and fishing.
I am not a vegan, but sometimes I have a meal without meat or fish...but that's my choice as it's yours.

But I do drink Guinness..so I do my bit.

I'm happy preaching, it's for the animals that have feelings, but can't speak up for themselves. 59 billion of them on death row

In fact isn't all life on earth an accidental arrangement of carbon atoms? Plants, humans, cows....all carbon atoms.

Carbon atoms eating other carbon atoms. It's all cannibalism. Shame on you all you carbon munching w***ers.
