I can’t tell you how often you try to argue against a point I’m not making - it’s painfully dull.

My only observation was that using a video of a time something didn’t happen, and suggesting that’s evidence that it never happens, is nonsense - I’m sure you’d agree.

What you’ve done is akin to saying;

‘Mo Salah never dives, here’s a video of him being fouled.’

I wasn’t challenging the point you’re making, just the way you made it.

I've noticed this before the BBC buries news that doesn't fit its agenda. In the past when there has been good news on the economy it has appeared on the home page for a couple of hours and then disappears. They report it on the home page so they can claim they are not biased but they make you look for it.

Meanwhile social justice stories relating to individuals stay on the home page for days. For example "I am Mixed Race is Cambridge right for me". This is the 3rd day this story has appeared on the Home Page.

Not a news story but remember they actually offered her the job.

As for the interview I have been through this process myself good cop and bad cop interview. I am not sure how successful the process is but if you work in a stressful environment you do need to ascertain whether any new entrants can hack it.

It was probably not a good idea for her to publicise this if I were an employer I would think twice about hiring her. Not because she complained but that she complained on social media.

Firstly, no. Because the BBC covered this in November, where it may or may not have made the algorithm driven 'Top story' section. [Link]

Secondly, does anyone care about a minor, expected development when there are bigger fish to fry? Also no. I certainly don't, as I knew this was a given in November, and there are far bigger current unknowns to worry about.

However, if users did think it was important, it would be a top story. Because algorithms. Not because conspiracy. Gotta love maths.

Negative things are always more popular than positive ones, unless they're massive topics or big wins. This is evident from the Independents current homepage, where the above positive story is not as visible as the negative one referring to motorists having to apply for visas to drive in the EU.

Simple really.
