One thing is for sure we will have to play out of our skins to get near the top teams at this tournament.

I want to see an England team display all their skills, and most important, passion....

I have a completely irrational hatred of Cristiano Ronaldo. Never met the bloke, nor am I likely to. Yet every single time I see that smirking face I want to punch it. Hard. And again. And again.

So good fcuking riddance.

Uruguay look like a tough team to beat. I said they could be an outside shout. Decent defence & Suarez, for me is superb at holding up the ball & drawing in fouls.

The fullback - Laxait - looked a nice athletic & dynamic player too.

I still don't know where we're at with England. We scraped a win over Tunisia after a decent opening 20 mins. Smashed a poor Panama team and our second string lost 1-0 to Belgium. We've got the better side of the draw, so hopefully our first string team can play some good football and put away the chances when we get them (our biggest weakness against Tunisia)

A brave penalty from that Russian guy, talk about pressure.

Can Russia surprise here, 1-1 just at the start of the 2nd half.

One of these days a referee is going to get teed off at a player wagging his finger at him and send him/her off for disrespect. I'd love to see it.

Referees are challenged and intimidated far too much. The football authorities should really come down hard on it.
