The way the Police force have treated Robinson I have zero problems with his utter distrust of them.

I have a real hope that CCTV footage is available because I also have little trust in the media and wider authorities to be even handed.

We can see that even now in how this has been reported.

I was brought up to value the truth beyond self interest and as a guiding principle.

Unfortunately, since the erosion of religion this concept has become a commodity like everything else.

Secularism may not be producing deluded people but it certainly seems to be producing a larger number of liars.

White lies are indeed "effective" lies.

Whether a lie is "white" or not, and therefore can be justified, depends on the context.

As I cannot recall the context of the alleged remark I would need to see it to judge whether it is being misrepresented, or not. Knowing the history of the person making the allegation, misrepresentation would hardly be a big surprise though.

Sadly, this is true.....and yet you get empty headed morons calling him a coward and just in it for the money.....as if someone would go down that road for money....brainlets.

If Robinson doesn't leave it's a matter of time....I think he's resigned to that....but hopefully he will leave because, while in in various right wing countries he's a hero....here he is persecuted and permanently on a timer.

I find it really amazing that anyone, whatever their personal political beliefs, thinks "Tommy Robinson" is "making a stand".

He seems a transparent total fraud to me. Little more than a loud mouthed bully boy with a penchant for using his fists when provoked and with a scant regard for the law. He has just found a cause that is popular with a certain category and then milked it. Whether because he craves the attention, or for financial reasons, is not clear to me. I think he is an embarrassment to our country and certainly no hero.

It is therefore no surprise at all that he has frequent run ins with the law and is ostracised by the political establishment. It seems that part of his strategy is to appear to be a victimised outsider. .
