It's a team game, and we had 3 Palace defenders on the line to head it out. I don't think he's good enough, but that a case could definitely be made that he is the best option we have. Speroni I feel has been too long out of the action thanks to the comedy that was McCarthy. Not as s**t as some think, but there are better first choices playing in the premiership at clubs of our general status.

Hennessy until the end of the season. Steve mandanda may improve like de gea did. That said reports keep coming out saying mandanda has a desire to play for Marseille again. Not sure his committed.

What do you mean, he nearly gave away 2 points yesterday? Beneteke nearly had a shot on goal, but he didn't! Well it was enough of a mistake for Big Sam to mention it in his post-match interview (on the Palace Membership website). You have to be strong in a position like that and he wasn't. Fact. So it's worth discussing.

Personally do not think he is a Premier League Standard keeper. He makes at least 1 mistake every game. Maybe its a confidence thing and with a tigfht defence he might proove us all wrong but i doubt it. New Keeper in the summer is a must.

We all make mistakes. But when you're a goalie you cant make those kinds of mistakes too often. But lets face it - he makes them ALL the time. Almost one a game. Not coming for balls when he should. Stepping away from his side of the goal for free-kicks and getting wrongfooted. It was a reasonable save, something I'd expect a premier league keeper to make.

I have always bagged Hennessey, but he's played well and I will praise him for it. As for his 94th minute 'mistake', I don't think it was such a bad decision by him. He did what I personally would have wanted him to do, decisively commit to attacking the ball. It's the Pl, okay? it didn't come off too well, but he did what he felt he had to do - instead of dithering in two minds. And who is to say what would have happened if he didn't do as he did? I'd need to look at the replay again, but I'm not convinced that he made a bad decision in attacking that ball that was coming towards a striker. Also, THIS TIME his trusty defenders covered for him, further strengthening the unity and confidence of the back 5. He also made a very good save. And I thought our games since and including WBA (who beat Arsenel 3-1) have been the toughest I have seen for a long while. Watford played and defended very, very well. Well done Wayne and the boyz!

Why would you change a gk, who's kept 3 clean sheets in row. Have you watched any of those games? In all 3 he has had f*ck all to do and was lucky not to get punished for the mistakes he did make. He made a good save against Watford but other than that he hasn't done anything of note in those 3 games.

Wayne's not the best keeper in the world, but he is better than the hugely overrated Steve Mandanda.

It was a good height for him and although be would've seen it late it wasn't anything out of this world. It was a good save. Nothing more. But I don't want to be talking about the keeper after every game. At the moment we are. And by default that means there is a problem.
