sorry mate but palace mean so much to me after 51 years of supporting them. I’ll get over it as I have done for so long. Speak for yourself, chum. And I sympathise if your weekend is spoiled by a football match. Rank as the result may be, our start to this season is still better than last.

You are right ...... and there is a long way to go .... but why Pardew thought it would be a good idea to ditch Murray ........ and we ended up with Benteke! We could have paid for Murray’s tax bill and still bought a couple of others! Edited by Forest Hillbilly (01 Sep 2018 5.12pm)
Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time! |

I think the team after the break should be: Hennessey AWB, Tomkins, Sakho, PVA McArthur Kouyate Milivojevic Meyer Zaha and either Ayew or Townsend I liked the way we played at the end of last season when we were forced too play without a centre forward Agree but what if like today we lose Zaha, we depend on him to much. Sorlorth should have gone out on loan during the summer. We had chances to bring in a experienced striker

Just why did Pardew think Murray was not suited to the EPL.

I couldn’t give a nob of goat s*** about holding Benteke’s hand anymore. Wanted to give him a chance but he’s been given too many now. The teams confidence in him is worth more than his own confidence. Created plenty of chances today just need at least an average striker on the end of them. Patience has run out in this blind faith that he will somehow return to his form at Villa. On the positive side Kouyate and Meyer looked good and would like to see start and anyone but Benteke. Hopefully Wilf and Tomkins or Dann back after international break.

I have more faith in his abilities to rediscover some form from seasons back than Tekkers at the mo.
