Its definitely a problem, whether its just a black youth problem is open to debate - it certainly seems to be in Thornton Heath and parts of South London, not necessarily the same elsewhere in the country. Problem I think is more how much focus the element of Black gets, rather than the problem of knife crime, gangs and violence, when its discussed.
