This whole process is in its infancy in terms of nominations, the Boris 'Band wagon' (If there is one) could conceivably stall with him not attaining the required 100 but I am hearing he could attain a much greater figure.
The accuracy of the statistics is of course open to conjecture.

I am not convinced there was some secret plan hatched by the Parliamentary Conservative Party to return Boris to the 'Throne' but I am of the opinion that he never ruled out re-entering the doors of No 10.
I recall his reference to "Cincinnatus" in his speech at the Downing Street lectern and "Hasta La vista baby" in the House of Commons !

I was in conversation with a disgruntled Conservative member who uttered to me that if Boris Johnson was to attain the coveted crown once again, the conclusion he would draw is that the "Lunatics have taken over the asylum".He is firmly behind Rishi Sunak.

Yes, I got the Arnold Schwarzenegger reference but Cincinnatus went over my head.

Someone who was returned to power after having been ousted

If walking around with an inane grin on your face not having the first clue as to how to run the country is now the barometer for competency in office I might throw my name in the hat given I could quite easily do both of those things! Anymore time out of the gym due to my cold and I might even have bigger tits too!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Another answer; don't trust politicians capable of such a drastic miscalculation let alone let them choose the Prime Minister.

That's up to us. We choose them.

It is patently obvious that we are in pitchy seas in shark infested waters and emergency repairs need to be carried out. The ship might be listing, some might argue it is sinking, however the next election is not due until January 2025, accordingly there is ample time to guide the ship into calmer waters.

I'm hearing that the iceberg took one look at the "ship of state" and said not bloody likely I'm off.
