This thread is getting ridiculous now. We all have our different opinions on Hennessey but come on, how can people talk as if he is a quality keeper because of three consecutive clean sheets where he had pretty much nothing to do in all of those games. He was rarely tested but was still lucky not to be punished for basic errors. The guy has been poor for a long time and if hadn't been, people wouldn't be highlighting his mistakes. Giving Hennesey credit for those clean sheets ( slightly less so against Watford) is like giving Benteke credit for a 5-0 win where he has about 10 touches, gives the ball away and Plays no part in any of the goals.

It's called clutching at straws. His supporters have being doing this since his first appearance for us.

Where did we state that he was quality, because we support our players. Players performances have improved under Sam like Tomkins,Townsend and keeping clean sheets, will build WH confidence. Also, Last time I looked football is a team game. You win, lose and draw as a team. Highlighting individual for poor performances, when we win you must hate Hennessy. only palace fans can find faults with a keeper who has kept 3 clean sheets in a row. go for a walk ffs. for the record he still scares me but he's the best we've got. mandanda is a fat fck who isn't interested.

It looks like Palace are looking ahead at our options after such a bad season: [Link]
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |
