I think you should prepare yourself for a big disappointment. Not being a pessimist, just a realist.

To be honest, this has to be a joke... If P Diddy was interested in a Championship Club then he'd only enjoy us for 3 months... If he was looking for a League 1 club then we're the ones for him! Going downnnnnnnnnnnnn £300m sounds nice though just a shame he'd probably only chuck 30p at us.

Bollocks. Yup. It'll be less 'PDiddy' and more 'Squatdiddly' if you ask me.

Again, this is never going to happen, but; Would he be the first Black Chairman of a Football League club? I can't think of anyone else? It would be a way of not only tapping in to a new generation of young potential Palace fans in the area, but also, (hesitate to say) but for a multi-cultural area, we don't have the most diverse crowd at Palace at all. We've had a lot of history with having some fantastic black players through times when racism at other clubs was rife; this could be another step towards opening the doors for a whole new market of fans. Including an American market (with CP Paltimore as well...) Maybe I'm being very naive with that view, but I think it would make us an extremely marketable club.

This story is a win win situation for us in my opinion if it does develop we could have a very rich chairman buying us which would free up a lot of the clubs debts and even if as which is more than likely he wont buy us it gives us lots of free publicity which may lead to someone else putting a intrest in us.

Maybe this could be the consortium the Mckenzie brother was fronting for. On another note, when i told my brother about P Diddy, he also suggested P Ince as manager(tongue in cheek)but its not a bad shout.

Ince did a great job at MK Dons (went back didn't he?) and I'd be up for that. Last Manure player from that era did the trick okay...

Unless I've misheard, it was just on SSN that BG has not yet spoken to Mr Diddy, but expects to do so. This doesn't really mean anything, but I'd like to think he means it (if only because I want him to). Realistically, this is just too out of the ordinary to be true. However, strange things do happen and if one of those strange things leads to Palace being secure and marketable, then I'm all for that.
