You just admitted they started doing it in support of the BLM protests, which is where those ugly scenes happened, got many people outraged across all classes and resulted in clashes in London and retired soldiers having to announce they were going to guard the statues. Only that got Sadiq Khan to do anything. All he did was board up the statues and make police block them off. Before that he was happy to sit and watch them vandalise anything they wished. You can’t remember what happened or want to hope nobody remembers, but many do, only you go and say it’s for something different now. I wouldn't boo any National Anthem unless totally drunk and belligerent and it's someone like France or Argentina. Conversely, I won't stand either. But I can see your point. I'm a difficult person sometimes. I suspect at Palace yours will be the view that prevails amongst our fans.
