It seems to me that Den1923 is that you have a bigger grudge about his wages than the player . It is not his fault that he asked for that amount but SP for agreeing to it . As the saying goes shy dogs don't get the bones . He is a good player and is scoring goal's and helps out at both end of the field . I wonder who you will keep having a go at when he leaves .

I wonder who you will keep having a go at when he leaves . his return over five years has been a complete waste of money, 31 goals at a cost to the club of circa 61mil (including the lower side of his reported fee between 27-32mil) hardly a bargain by any stretch of the imagination!

i will confess to being confused. During his long goal drought , i was his worst critic. and then, just to prove me wrong, the fecker turns into Messi in front of goal. regarding money, who cares if a fella is loaded...........if he is scoring goals and justifying his existence then that is the Premier League. lets hope next season Benteke becomes the talking point of Football redemption and a continued miracle recovery of form Kayla did Anfield & Old Trafford
