What will help most is breaking down the distrust in different groups exacerbated by inflammatory (and quite often false or misrepresenting of facts) headlines in the media.

I'd say to those that taint all Muslims with terrorism to go out and meet and interact with some of them, might change their viewpoint.

As for stopping terrorism. I wonder if there was a lot more community policing and hobbies on the beat will allow them to get to know the people in the community they serve and build up a trust or rapport with the locals. That way you'd get an ear to the ground so to speak and someone who over time will be well known enough for people to confide information to.

We all know that most active terrorists in the UK are Muslims and Islamists and are at large in the Muslim population and have sympathy among a significant minority. That is a fact.
How does that equate to all Muslims are terrorists?
