That seat in block E is not of your ownership. The simple fact of the matter is the club by a way of contract allow the recipient a license to occupy that seat. It is their property, what they do with it, is - unfortunately or fortunately depending on what side of the fence you sit on - their right. These memories, friendships and so forth are all collateral damage unfortunately. It is sad, but the show must go on!

So, what if season after next, after the so-called HF have had their way, SP decidies, that NO, he doesn't want them in Block E, he wants them out becos of more 'favourable & profitable' fans, will you still say the same?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

If you had supported palace all your life, been sitting with your wife and son in the same seat for many years, building up friendships with the people around you. Then told you've got to move so that a 'singer' can have your seat. With no guarantee that you will he able to get seats together with wife and kid next season. How would you feel? A splendid heartfelt response, that sums up the whole situation in a nutshell, and shows how little thought Parish has given to this mess, caused totally by the HF.

I, as are the vast majority, am aligned with the club on this .Watching Sporting Lisbon's singing section fans ie the entire stand behind the goal, continually vocally back the team as they created chances ,despite going behind, gave us a vision of what the Selhurst atmosphere could become once the section has been established. One question - will we see the return of the HF section at a home game soon - boy we need all the help we can get ? If we need all the help we can get,why have the HF so petulantly disbanded, when they claim to be so important to the team.

For many, the return of the HF is not about results and performance. It's about enjoying the Selhurst Park atmosphere and day out, which has been terrific, and to support Palace - win, lose or draw. Results are secondary to me. After how unenjoyable the Southampton game was, due to atmosphere, not performance, I won't be returning until the HF are back. I'm sure I'm not alone in this and many fans feel the same.

No, that was the Police. This is fake news. There are multiple threads on that if you choose to read them. Just like the Hull BS before.

It’s all their ( HF ) cunning plan. The HF ensemble have delusions of grandeur, don’t they ? Interesting article I found online by Ceyhun Kaplan entitled "The impact of fans in the management of professional football clubs" particularly these extracts: The category of fans that is the most influent in the management of professional football clubs is the Ultras.* This organization works in an associative way, with a membership and subscription system. The officials are elected or designed by members and they decide for the activities of the group. Furthermore, they are the representatives for relationships with managers of the club or the local media. For the managers of the Olympique de Marseille, the fans are not simple spectators. Indeed, one group controls the sale of tickets through “their own stands”. This group has its own place in the stands where they keep all the tickets. The group sells the tickets to who they want and choose the price of the tickets. This provides to the leaders of the group a huge power. The managers of the football clubs give them cheap tickets in order to maintain calm and respect in the stadiums. Sounds spookily familiar? The shape of things to come.....

I don’t suspect I will either. Quite frankly if I don’t enjoy it anymore, why would I go? £38 to sit in silence? Not for me, maybe for you. I’d rather stream it or watch Soccer Saturday with my mates down the pub. I’ll stick to away games this year, I find it too demoralising at SP at the moment.
