Todays first download is a set by The Allman Brothers band that was recorded in New York on the 22nd of this month - last Sunday. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a cracking show - with some classics being played - especially the 11 minute version of "Jessica" which some of you may know as the theme music to "Top Gear". If you like The Allman Brothers band - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by the legendary Frank Zappa that was recorded in Poughkeepsie, New York in 1978. This is easily the best sounding FZ boot that I've ever heard... the audio is taken from a reel to reel copy of the master soundboard recording. The setlist is fantastic - the band are on top form and are an unbelievably tight unit... If you like FZ you will want this one - it's a must have... so download it now!.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Mid Hudson Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. 21.9.78 - Frank Zappa (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Disc 1 : Disc 2 : Download Links : Part 1 : [Link] Part 2 : [Link] Filesize : 206MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!

Todays second download is a set by Van Der Graaf Generator that was recorded at the BBC in London on 23rd Sept 71 and is in superb quality. The audio has been taken from BBC transcription discs and sounds top notch - it has been remastered and a few vinyl "clicks" removed. Only a short set but a good one, which was broadcast on FM radio on October 5th 1971. This is the first bootleg by VDGG that I've posted although I've previously posted one of the bands studio albums. If you like VDGG - this is thoroughly recommended... Here is a download link I found for :- "BBC In Concert" Live in London 23.9.71 - Van Der Graaf Generator (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. Man-Erg Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 45.6MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Enjoy!

Hi staffie, A trivial one for you today. To celebrate becoming an elite member I'd like to post on here first. Anyway, could I have the Olympic Opening Ceremony album "Isles Of Wonder: Music For the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games" by various artists. Been trying to find a complete video of it as well but to no avail, all the downloads available are riddled with malware. No thanks. Cheers mate!

Sorry for delay with this one - it was hard to find an active link, and when I did, I found the file was in m4a format. So I've converted it to mp3 at 128Kbps Isles of Wonder Music For the Opening Ceremony - Various Artists Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 139MB (Including Artwork/Tracklisting Doc) Enjoy!
Top notch, staffie! And I Will Kiss is a great song, despite being 17 minutes long and it's when the Olympic rings and industrization bit of the ceremony occurred. Any chance you could push me in the direction of a download to the video of the whole thing could you? If not, I hope they'll bring out a dvd cos it was a great show about our history. Cheers!
