My funniest memory was going to watch Colchester vs Palace and their goalie Dean Gerken, every time he went to take a kick the whole of the away end shouted Gherkin, Gherkin, Gherkin. I still don't know why, there isn't much logic to be fair other than his name sounded like a Gherkin and that was so funny

Remember many years ago v Everton, rather than shouting abuse at the left back, every time he got the ball he was applauded and cheered by the Palace fans who were then standing in the AW. Don't remember his name but it put him off so much he was substituted early in the second half

I remember going to oxford united away ... The old ground (terraces) and as the players came out for second half the oxford keeper approached us (I was down the front) I shouted at him to let a couple more goals in ... He said "alright" ... We won 4-1
They say hard work never hurt anyone ... but why take a chance? |

Cannot recall his name but the Forest goal keeper let the Holmsdale get the better of him and was dropping easy catches and mis kicked a few times, he was fat and got the most abuse I have ever heard at a match. Think we should try and intimidate goal keepers in someway but not with the stupid your s*** thing. Perhaps potatoes with razor blades thrown at him might do the trick?....

chris kirkland of Sheff Wed got abuse getting our goal disallowed at the Hol End, then we came back and beat them. He then got a slap in front of the Leeds away end at Sheff Wed.
