Great finisher but is useless at everything else, even struggles to make a short pass. He'd be pretty poor in a side like ours.

Could we make a loan bid for a player of such calibre? A naturally brilliant finisher, good feet and puts in a shift. Should Gayle be sold to Leicester or Burnley as rumoured, we would have space for another little striker! Thoughts on a Chamakh, Murray, Hernandez front three?

However, if he is up for loan in the EPL, there are other teams that would want him (including midweights), so it would be hard to compete. Mario Gomez would be a safer bet.

Well it means a loan, for a season, so given we are currently halfway through a season, I would say it is quite important. As for Gomez, if by safer, you mean equally as impossible (if not more so), then I thoroughly agree.

This guy just wants to play football and is willing to leave Real Madrid and Machester United in order to do so. Was quoted as saying the following in an interview yesterday as saying "“Yes, I want to stay in Madrid, but I also want to play for a team where I can play," he said. "If I can play at Manchester United or another team, I’ll be happy. “First-team football is my priority over anything else.” Could certainly be worth making a move in my opinion. Even if for a season long loan.

He's a good player , but he is very similar to Gayle in style and quality , another great finisher with an average overall game , for the wages of what say 60k and probably an 8-12million fee , is he really that much an improvement on Dwight!? who can't currently get in the team , if we are gonna spent that sort of money, It would be better spent on a Jerome type who can hit 15 odd goals.
