I think we should try for Bendtner again. Big, strong and scores goals...even if he is somewhat hard to like as a person. I think bigger clubs will also now be more likely to loan us a quality striker. I don't think there is a snowballs chance in hell Pulis would take a gamble on an unknown foreign striker yet...especially one that's not tall and powerful.

This is probably a daft suggestion but Danny Welbeck is unsettled at Man U so we could put in a cheeky bid for him. May be if we let them off the £5 million they owe us for Wilf we could get a discount! More realistically Bentner would be good.

I would say go for gomis, he dosnt look like a bad player and id rather take a chance on someone from the french league rather than some crappy scandanavian leaguel. Dont think he will be too expensive either.

! More realistically Bentner would be good. Bendtner's goalscoring record is not up to much !

Gomis is a very good idea and he is out of contract this summer but his wage is actually quite high... Even if we get him for free I don't know how we are going to pay his wages he earns like 2-3M € a year so between 40K and 60K per week witch for us is very high but if we sign him we have a very very proven goalscorer he is scorring a minimum of 10 league goals per season since 2006... And is averaging a 17.25 goals per season since 2006 and 22 goals per season on the last 2 years... We need to do the sacrifice for such a player and Im pretty sure Pullis will use him well and we could have a go at the Cups with such a striker...

England int on 70k pw, used to playing in front of 70,000 fans, previously playing champions league football. Yeah send Gerry Francis up for a chat, he'll be chomping at the bit to join us....

As long as we don't go for Crouch. Now we're safe it must be about time for the Crouch rumours to start up again. Rhodes would be a good signing. Don't know much about Gomis.
