His record at Bordeaux before he signed for Arsenal was roughly 1 goal every 4 games so he was hardly that prolific.I think Arsenal got him on a 'Free'.


Yeh,he was out of contract and as I recall he ran his contract down on purpose. Got a feeling he decided to stay on a year extra to do that despite an £18m offer from the Spammers. But his scoring in his last two years there was around 1 in 3, so not too shabby.

He feels like he belongs at Palace. We've certainly made him feel at home.

He seems to behave in a more balanced way then when he arrived. I hope Champers realises he has learned a good lesson at Palace and commits himself, even if it means taking a lower remuneration. Lets hope.

What are you on about ade, you do type absolute bollocks at times.

Agree we all had our opinions when it was announced he was coming most of us were wrong. I don't think Cham coming to Palace suddenly changed him as a person, it's just we have found out that he is actually down to earth. What is it they say about books?
