It doesn't taste right. Bit of a sweet tinge rendering it not particularly refreshing. I try to drink all mine during the day from the cooler at work.

You're not sending me to the cooler!

I'm not sure of the level of filtration the machine offers if any but it tastes better than at home. Potentially goes through more processing at the plant that then pumps it to the City.

I have a drilled well and a reverse osmosis filter for drinking water. Tastes fine to me! Always liked the water in the Croydon area as it had that gutsy hard chalky edge to it. Missed it when I moved to Yorkshire where the water was weak & soft.

When I was living in Paris, I never touched the stuff, after being told that every drop had passed through nine people before it got to you. Yummy. Down here in the country it's safe and clean.

Makes me laugh, watching people lugging six-packs of 2ltr bottles of something called 'Spa Water' home with them when we've all got it literally 'on tap'. I've lived all over Britain and London's water is my 2nd favourite after Glasgow's. London's is the best for straight drinking and for Coffee. The latter scores higher for Tea making and for not leaving lime scale on everything (makes cleaning Baths etc a lot easier).
I also enjoy posting on: Love Everton Forum, the Acceptable Face of Scouse Football. |

Have my own borehole with no UV- or micro-filtering. Better than anything else around.

I have a house in Preston, Lancashire, not living there at the moment because i'm working back down here until xmas, but no doubt you've heard about people up there having to boil water because of a parasite. Personally I drink bottled water but for tea use a Brita filter.
